You should NEVER have to download an app when talking to any customer service department. This app may have good intentions, but scammers are using it to get your information. I received an email from PayPal stating someone was trying to fraudulently use my PayPal account for charges (I don’t have a PayPal account, but that doesn’t mean someone didn’t open one in my name).
